Maxim magazine plans to lend its name to a $1.2-billion hotel casino with a planned 2010 opening date. "It's going to be upscale, it's going to be four-star, it's going to be sexy and flirtatious, absolutely," claims Barry Pincus, director of brand development for Maxim. The resort will include 2,300 rooms, a 60,000 sq. ft. casino and several high-end shop, restaurants and lounges. Most of the rooms (about 2,000) will be of the condo-hotel type.
