Las Vegas High Rise Condos

PROPOSED Projects
Cay Club Condo/Hotel Las Vegas is proposed to be built across from the RIO on the Harmon Corridor. More details will follow as plans are unveiled.

Cielo Vista is a 25-story tower with 414 loft-style condominiums on 2.8 acres at East Washington Avenue and Veterans Memorial Drive. Cielo Vista is not looking to compete with the multimillion-dollar condominiums near the Strip, but rather provide affordable, luxurious homes for those that live and work in the north downtown area. Located one mile north of downtown near Cashman Field, the Cielo Vista condos will range from 1,000 to 2,000 square feet and priced from $295,000 to the upper $500,000s. The construction schedule has not been established yet.

The Conrad/Waldorf -Astoria Residences will be located on the top 10 floors of the Conrad Las Vegas on Las Vegas Boulevard and Riviera, with only 76 luxury condominium units. Due to strong demand for this project and a very limited number of units, The Waldorf -Astoria Residences will be priced from $2.8 to $10 million. Each unit will be equipped with European cabinets, granite countertops in kitchens, stone countertops in bathrooms, 10-ft. ceilings with recessed lighting, glass perimeter walls, private balconies, and fireplaces.

At the Hard Rock, where majority owner Peter Morton last April (2006) announced a $1.4 billion resort-condo expansion on 24 acres near the hotel, company officials say they received $20 million in initial deposits from 3,600 buyers. The problem: There are only 1,381 units. Mr. Morton is choosing who's in and who's out -- with a big advantage to celebrities and Hard Rock VIPs, according to news reported in the Las Vegas Review Journal.

Coming Soon! Kallisto is a twin tower luxury high rise condominium project planned for a 4.4 acre site on Sirius Avenue, previous home of the Scandia amusement park. The $550 million project has 700 units in two 50 story towers and will be priced from the low $300,000s to $4 million. Kallisto will offer four levels of parking with 1,400 spaces, 20,000 square feet of resident oriented retails shops and a 3 acre pool and amenity deck six stories above ground. Floor plans for the one, two and thee bedroom units will range from 800 sq ft to 4,200 sq ft with the two top floors occupied by two story penthouses.

Mandalay Bay - The Place have not released plans yet.

The Echelon (Stardust) is going to be a a collection of Hotel Resorts with 5300 rooms.  However, they may choose to provide condos and/or condotels at a later date, so I am watching that project closely.  The link below is a great map of the strip provided by the Echelon website.
